Oh, it's alot more fun doing ATS than watching a vid of it...in person, is another story...live performances just have so much energy, you can't help from wanting to get up and dance with them...:-) I also agree about alot of the fusion vids...there's some of them that I don't like to watch, either...alot of people don't seem to understand that if it's fusion, you need to have some actual moves from what you're fusing...I've seen alot of tribal fusion that has no tribal moves in it, at all...doesn't quite make sense... Have fun with the workshop!

Yeah, see i find ATS SOOOOO boring (sorry to all you fans), becuase its all the same (to me!). And I find it very restrictive, I know that part of the attraction for some people is the 'safety in numbers' thing, and the community thing - and i TOTALLY get that. But I couldn't watch more than one ATS group in one sitting or i get SO bored. I love the colours and costume though. I also think the idea that you can go and dance with anyone who has learnt it a lovely concept - that is special. Just for me, i can see the appeal from DOING it, but not so much watching it. Fusion I love too - if its being done really well, but there is alot of really really really bad fusion out there that i've seen and its agony to watch. But then bad cabaret is agony to watch too!!! Agree with the robot thing - very controlled. I"m doing a workshop with her at raqs britannia.

I've seen her perform in DC.....you should see her live. She has incredible presence and energy!! She left me wanting to jump out of my seat!

Ye, it definitely fits in with the title, which I guess may be the name of the tune...I have seen Morgana do the 'rewind' type of moves, but she also puts alot of martial arts into her dancing...I'd almost say that this one had a combo of a hip-hop/robotic mix... I guess we're kinda opposite...I don't usually watch anything but ATS and fusion vids anymore...gotten awfully bored with the rest...it's hard to find anything new in any of it, really...there are a few out there that put their own spin on things, but it's really hard to find anything that's not the same ol' cookie cutter...

Well, i guess she's original to me ;) Nobody - certainly no dancer is truly original. What i love about this piece is her 'rewinding' her movements - i've not seen any other fusion dancer do this. I get VERY bored of watching fusion, even the really really good ones, but love seeing when someone has done something different with it.

Uh, oh...shouldn't have said anything about her being 'original', cuz I guarantee that there will be someone in here that will come in and say they see this dancer and that one and the other in her...*rolls eyes* She really is good...very clean, sharp moves...I like her! :-)
