Hello hello,
I absolutely adore dancing with/around fire, any favourites on how tribal fusion dancers interpret with this element?
It's such a powerful beautiful thing, and it is a true art to dance and become one with it, not being dominant or too dominating.
Please let me know if you know of some good stuff out there.
Also if you have thoughts on fire dance yourself, please share!
Here's my interpretation from a few weeks back:

All the best,

Re: Fire in tribal fusion, any favourites?
Sat, May 16, 2009 - 5:21 PMHi Felecia and Rebekah, they're actually palm fires a friend of mine made a while ago, just worn on the top of the hand. Don't know what the actual name is, but they're basically a coathanger twisted to fit around the hand and spiralling up to a small wick. Very comfortable and allow a lot of finger movement. Never made any myself, but don't imagine it to be too hard... -

Sun, May 17, 2009 - 7:41 AMIsn't it amazing the fun toys we can create when we get caught by the fire bug? Gonna have a couple vids up within a day or two of our fire play last night and there were a couple unique home-made toys used...I'll come back for show and tell when they're up!!!
