Kids should be controlled at a performance taking place on a big stage. People spend months working on their 5 minute performances, give them the chance to strut their stuff without the distractions of kids at the front of the stage. I have children and I would never let them behave in such a fashion. There is a big difference between a party or casual hafla with open dancing and stage performances.
