Some time ago, someone posted a video of a male belly dancer who'd dance with his fingers. He was amazing! I'd dearly love to see that video again but can't find it.
If someone could help me, she/he would have the very grateful thanks of a person who can't find what she knows is out there.

Mon, March 30, 2009 - 2:15 PMIt does look weird. Seems like maybe it's because he's very arched when he's spinning, that combined with his choker.
He's definitely double-jointed, which makes all his moves look a little extreme.

Cannot remember anymore what I paid for this DVD.... I buy a lot of DVD's and have a bad memory about prices.... If I see or hear Serkan, I will tell him you want to know how much it is.... but in Belgium we are in holiday now. Next lesson I have from him is on 21st of April. If he didn't see your message here by then, I will tell him about it...
The DVD is really great! Lots of variety in dances and excellent image-quality!! (in fact, I have never seen such a quality on other oriental dance DVD’s, and believe me, I have a great library of belly dance DVD’s!). It is one of my favorits - and not only because my teacher is dancing on it! -

Serkan told me 1 DVD = 30$, 2 DVD (Brussels + Thessaloniki) = 55$ and sending costs from Belgium to USA is 15$

Just heard from Serkan that De Danstent (who are selling the DVD's of the Sultans) has opened a paypal account. This will be much easier in use... too many people were asking to pay with paypal....

Well, it goes like this (Serkan told me last evening) : If someone wants to buy the DVD('s) of the Sultans of Raqs he/she has to send an e-mail to the Sultans: info@Sultansofraqs.com or to himself: info@serkan.be to tell which DVD he/she wants.
Then De Danstent will send a payment request via paypal and once the money is on that account, the DVD('s) will be sent as soon as possible (within the week following the payment).
This is much easier for people from out of Europe to use then doing a payment with banktransfer (no extra bankcosts!)
I also have the DVD from their Thessaloniki show now. This is a completely different setting - night club - but also a very good one!! (I think I will buy all future DVD's from them....)
Hope this information about paypal is helpful.
