    First dancer was my choice as well.
    What was she going to do with that piece of the skirt over her arm right when they cut the clip? That sure piqued my curiosity. Am heading to her website now to see if I can find out.

      Munique Neith is really very controlled, I mean she controls her body with such ease that she does complicated stuff as if nothing. Very floating, very graceful, but often too understated. Sometimes I like her but I miss the emotional intensity.
      Soraya, being a Brazilian, is a Cairo dancer. Those shimmies are fabulous. And she has this feminine softness that so wows me. And often (other clips) that Suheir-Zaki-like innocent smile.

  What struck me was the flamenco-style clapping being done by the audience! In North America you're lucky if the audience can clap slowly on the beat!

    Munique Neith is based in Barcelona, to where she invited Soraya Zayed. In Spain, youths when they are in good mood, they like to do this clapping for fun, whether they're from Andalucia or not.

            ok. Brazilians always have a natural advantage when it comes to drum solo-ing. So far my positive prejudices ;-). Can be verified on Carlla Sillveira for example.
