Since last night I suddenly cannot wartch youtube anymore. I thought, there might be something wrong with the driver, so I downloaded that uninstall program for the old dirver. When I ran it, it stopped and said, it had run into a rpoblem and some other program had stopped it (Vista keeps giving me those cryptic reports, prmoising, Windows will look for a solution to the problem, u sometimes nothing happens after that). The I installed the new flash player, as instructed, but still I only get a white place instead of a screen on youtube. Does anybody else have this problem or ever dealt with this before?

Sun, June 8, 2008 - 4:47 AMSounds way more like a computer problem than anything wrong with YouTube. Perhaps you should take it in for a check up, or at least speak to a computer repair person and describe the problem to them. Good luck!

i heard a lot of people who got vista tried it for a while, then just chucked it and went back to xp. microsoft and mac both rush things to market before they get the bugs out. (the only difference for mac is they stopped f--ing with the operating system and are turning out unfinished "toys" instead-ipod, iphone..... FIX IT FIRST! THEN sell it to us!)
honestly, if you can't get vista to straighten out, tech support and all, back up your shit, and re-install xp.- a last resort, but it's there for your if nothing else works. -

Sun, June 8, 2008 - 8:39 AMIt's true, Fariha! I got a new MacBook a few months ago when my old one died & it has Leopard (OS 10.5) & it was so full of bugs at first. Now some of the software updates they send have straightened most of it out. As much as I love Macs I was soooo frustrated with Leopard at first. -

Does anyone have any more feasible, constructive advice than just "buy a new computer/get a Mac instead/ install a different operating system like mine, for exemple"?
Thanks for trying to help, guys, but Visa has behaved much better than it's reputation says, the last year since I got it. Who knows what is wrong with youtube now, might be that Trend Virus buster has blocked it on the firewall or God knows what (Norton does not seem to fit with Vista, argh). I am getting really frustrated here...
I hope the hotline guy will not tell me to flatten my computer and reinstall Windows, this is all some of these staff can come up with for repairing ideas , sometimes.
does anyone have any other idea? I was told by a friend to roll back my computer but I don't know how to do that, esp. on Vista. = ( -
